I loved reading The Thursday Murder Club! It was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend's mum and I spent a lot of time over Christmas and New year reading it. The story reminds me of the retirement village my grandma lives in so I ended up associating the characters with my grandma and her friends which was really fun to think about. It's a classic "whodunit" with a good plot twist which I never saw coming. This is the first book that Richard Osman has written and I cannot wait for the sequel and the film which will be directed by Ol Parker who directed Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. I seriously love this book and I've recommended it to everyone I know. If you do end up buying this book or download it (however you like to read/listen to books) I promise you that you won't be disappointed! If I had to rate this book, I would rate it a 10/10.
